The new Gyrax straw fork is equipped with a first device capable of holding the strings of straw bales and a second that cuts them. These devices retract in order to be able to handle several bales of straw at the same time. This allows the user to handle a bale of straw, untie it and pile up the used strings without having to get off the tractor. The maintenance of the strings is ensured by a gripper system which pinches the strings before they are cut. A stake attached to the fork frame slides under the strings. The upper part of the gripper presses against this pile using a jack and tightens the strings. This same cylinder also makes it possible to raise the clamp system in order to be able to handle several bales of straw at the same time. When the strings are held, a cutting and articulated arm comes under the bale of straw to cut the strings.
